| Libby White, Lower School Director | |||||||||

Libby White joined the staff at CFA in 1989. For the first two years, she was the Second Grade Teacher, before becoming the Lower School Director. Prior to coming to CFA, Mrs. White taught in Alabama, South Carolina, and Chapel Hill, NC. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Mrs. White also has a master's degree in Education from Livingston University. She has four adult children and seven grandchildren. On the weekends, Mrs. White enjoys reading, canoeing, and spending time with her grandchildren. |

Laurie Bernard has enjoyed working at Cape Fear Academy since 1989. Her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are from UNC-Chapel Hill. She and her husband Phil have one daughter, Caroline, who graduated from CFA. Mrs. Bernard enjoys playing and singing medieval music in her free time. Lately, she is learning to appreciate jazz. |

Kelly Borton has worked at CFA since 1999. She grew up in Ohio and spent several years in California before moving to Wilmington. She enjoys working in the front office and getting to know all the families at CFA. Mrs. Borton and her husband, Mike, enjoy spending time on the beach. She also loves trying new recipes, reading, and walking her two dogs. She is a coach for Girls on the Run. |

| Elizabteth Gibbs | |||||||||
Elizabeth holds Master's and Educational Specialist degrees in School Counseling from East Carolina University. She has over 10 years of School Counseling experience in Pender and Greene County Schools. She has served on various community boards including Cape Fear Teen Council and Pender Resource Network. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters, yoga and traveling. She is excited about working at CFA and looks forward to coaching Girls on the Run. |
