Becky Mills

Becky Mills is a devoted sixth grade English and Literature teacher.  She is Nationally Board Certified in Early Adolescence English Language Arts and has been teaching since 1990.

Outside of school, Mrs. Mills and her husband enjoy living in Wilmington with their two “bad kitties,” Sammi and Kiki.  Her daughter, Lexi Lefkowitz, is a film maker who graduated from UNC-Wilmington and lives nearby.  In her free time, Mrs. Mills finds cooking, shopping at the downtown farmer’s market, reading on the beach, practicing yoga, and riding around her neighborhood in “Rhetoric” (her Carolina Blue golf cart) irresistible.

Alison Reid teaches Seventh Grade English and Literature at CFA.  A native of Ohio, she earned a degree in Integrated Language Arts from Bowling Green State University before moving to North Carolina in June of 2006. Mrs. Reid joined the CFA community in 2007 and loves teaching middle school students because they are so energetic, inspiring, and unpredictable.
