After School Programs - Lower School

The After School Program is available to students in grades PK-5 to stay as late as 5:30 p.m. The goals of the program are to provide a warm, nurturing environment with a variety of non-academic activities such as free play, cooking, art projects, and games. Older students do have an opportunity to work on homework assignments. There is an additional fee for this program.

As another after school option, more than 60 Lower School students meet weekly to participate in Chess Club. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are also part of the Lower School after school opportunities as well as Girls on the Run for grades 3-5. Private lessons are available in piano, flute, voice, violin, viola, and guitar for our youngest students, as well as group Chinese lessons.  In addition, there are once-per-week options in our ASE (After School Enrichment) program to participate in such offerings as Kids' Cuisine, yoga, sports, and Lego¢ī Master Builder Academy.
