Combining elements of graphic arts, writing, and marketing, students on the Publications staff work together to design, produce, finance, and maintain the Shoreline yearbook and The Hurricane Upper School newspaper. Students learn to apply journalistic standards of writing, design, and photography while using a variety of programs such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. With individual roles that contribute to a team goal, students also explore the nuances of team management, community relations, and the fundamentals of production organization.
