Community Service - Lower School
The Lower School Student Government takes great pride in its efforts to lead their fellow students to be good stewards of the community. Their projects have included collecting pet food and bedding to donate to animal shelters to making yarn dolls to send to earthquake victims in Japan. The student government has also led students to donate more than 300 pounds of food each year to Mother Hubbard's Cupboard at Thanksgiving, donate backpacks to the Boys' and Girls' Brigade Club, and hold bake sales to make donations to the Yahweh Center and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Lower School students also perform classroom community service projects as well as through our Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups on campus.
