Future Minds

A unique program in our Lower School, Future Minds facilitates student learning in science, technology, engineering, and math. The youngest students learn to manipulate a SmartBoard while exploring other types of technology such as iPads at an age appropriate level as they learn about the tools they will use to support their classroom experiences. The Future Minds robotics program in the lower grades teaches students to work in collaborative groups where they program MindStorm robots to execute small tasks. This program meets in a laboratory setting and is a key support for our Lower School's curricular efforts to teach analytical thinking, observation skills, communication skills, spatial reasoning, math applications, and logical sequencing.
