  The JV Girls Basketball team defeated Parrott Academy 16-10 on Monday. CFA improved to 2-1 overall on the year. The CFA team of six players played solid defense. CFA was led by Eugenia Jenkins, Madison Graham, and Erin Sweeney. CFA hosts South Brunswick HS on Thursday.

   The Cape Fear Academy JV Girls Basketball team lost 23-20 in a tough contest on Thursday, December 13 against 3A public school South Brunswick HS. CFA took an early 11-6 lead, but fell behind by eight points going into the 4th quarter. CFA battled back and had a last second three point shot to tie hit off the rim and bounce out. The loss drops the JV Girls team to 2-2 overall and return to action on Tuesday, Jan 8 as they host Fayetteville Christian School.
