It was an incredible year for Cape Fear Academy Athletics, capped off by a standout finish in the Wells Fargo Cup standings. CFA placed 3rd overall among all NCISAA 3A schools during the 2024–2025 school year, which is a remarkable achievement, especially given the addition of new teams to the classification.
The Wells Fargo Cup, presented and sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, recognizes overall excellence in high school athletics among NCISAA member institutions. Points are awarded to schools whose teams finish in the top eight of state championship tournaments, and CFA’s performance across a wide range of sports was nothing short of exceptional.
