SCHEDULING

Based on availability, students are scheduled for 1 to 5 sessions per week. Middle and Upper School sessions are 50 minutes and typically meet during study halls or after school. Sessions for Lower School students last 30 minutes and are arranged with the classroom teacher at an appropriate time. Waiting pools are formed when no space is available.

Students can be referred to the Learning Skills Program by parents, teachers, or school adminstrators. The Program Coordinator approves the referral, assigns a teacher, and facilitates scheduling.

All students in the Learning Skills Program must be enrolled as regular students at Cape Fear Academy.
