Summer Programs
Thank you for choosing Cape Fear Academy’s Summer Programs!
We hope your child is excited and ready to participate in fun, unique, and dynamic programs that will create memories to last a lifetime. Whether your child chooses to be a princess for the week, hang out on the CFA ranch, dare to walk the plank, or become a graphic designer or a baker, they will not be disappointed! Cape Fear Academy’s Summer Programs offer engaging, educational, and exciting opportunities for a positive summer experience. This year we are excited to offer new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) programs, a variety of sports options, and enrichment programs.
Summer Program Details:
Camp programs are open to all children in grades PreK–12, whether they attend private or public schools or are home-schooled. (Please note that we require all our campers to be fully potty trained in order to attend.) The 2023 Camp season runs for seven weeks from June 5 through July 28. Camp will not be running the week of July 3–7. Camp sessions are generally three hours in the morning or three hours in the afternoon. Pricing starts at $185 per half-day session and full payment is due at registration.
Lunch Bunch:
Summer Programs will offer an extended care option, called Lunch Bunch, for those attending a morning or afternoon camp. For an additional fee of $25 per week, campers may stay with us during lunchtime from 12–1 p.m. Campers are supervised while they eat, and then allowed to play until they are picked up or until their afternoon session begins. This is designed to add flexibility for busy schedules. Lunch Bunch is offered at no charge for those campers attending both a morning and an afternoon camp. Lunch Bunch option must be indicated at the time of registration.
Health and Safety:
The health and safety of your child is our number one concern while they are in our care. From drop-off to pick-up, you can be assured that your child is in a safe environment. All our instructors must pass a background check and our facility is secured through a comprehensive security system. Additionally, all campers and families must follow the health and safety guidelines that Cape Fear Academy has in place for the 2023 summer programs.

Registration will open to the public on Monday, February 13. All Summer Programs registration is done in an online registration portal called My BackPack.
