Little Explorers, K, and 1st Grade Applicants: Each will have an individual appointment, scheduled for late-November or thereafter, depending on the applicant’s date of birth. Evaluations are conducted by a CFA faculty or staff member using a nationally recognized, standardized assessment such as the Gessell Developmental Assessment or the Get Set for School Assessment. Skills evaluated include language, memory, visual motor skills, math and reading readiness, and visual discrimination. As part of the application process, Little Explorers, Kindergarten, and 1st grade applicants also visit in a classroom on the day of their assessment.

Second through 12th Grade Applicants: Applicants entering grades 2 or 3 should schedule their testing with the admissions office.  Applicants entering grades 4-12 must attend the testing session on 1/21/19.  Applicants will be administered portions of the Educational Records Bureau (ERB CPT 4) achievement testing (reading and math) as well as a writing exercise. Contact Admissions Department if you are unable to test onsite.  Applications received after 1/21/19 are processed on a rolling basis.
