Cape Fear Academy Leads State in NCAIS Honor Band Selection

Wilmington, NC: Thirty-seven Cape Fear Academy students were selected to participate in the N.C. Association of Independent Schools’ High School and Middle School Honor Bands clinic at UNC Charlotte on October 10th and 11th. Cape Fear Academy Bands led the state in number of students selected by more than double of any other independent school in North Carolina. The Middle and Upper School band program at Cape Fear Academy is led by Ms. Rebecca Best

The NCAIS Honor Bands allow students to perform with a large concert band made up of the most talented concert band musicians from NCAIS independent schools throughout the state.
