CFA Equestrians Excel

The North Carolina Hunter Jumper Association held its awards ceremony for the 2013 season last weekend in Pinehurst.  CFA students were prominent in their accomplishments:

Caroline Caviness – CHAMPION A circuit Small Pony Hunter

  Mary Helen Earp – FIFTH PLACE Short Stirrup

                             FIFTH PLACE Short Stirrup Equitation

  Olivia Pasin – FOURTH PLACE Small/Medium Pony Hunter

  SIXTH PLACE 11 and Under Equitation

  Kate Smith –   THIRD PLACE Short Stirrup

Year-end awards for the Triangle Farms C Circuit have also recently been awarded.

Elisabeth Dill – RESERVE CHAMPION, Children’s Hunter

  Kate Smith – RESERVE CHAMPION, Short Stirrup 

                    RESERVE CHAMPION, Short Stirrup Equitation

Caroline and her pony, Texas Hold ‘Em (Ace) qualified and competed in the US Equestrian Federation Pony Finals 2013 in August. In addition, Caroline Caviness competed in the Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show.  She was the overall Grand Champion for her division during the two week AA show in August. Caroline is pictured with her trainer Mike Rosser of Southern Pines.
