Twenty-nine works of art by CFA students have earned honors in the prestigious 2016 Eastern / Central NC Scholastic Art Awards. New this year was the submission of the work of CFA’s photography class which captured three awards, including a Gold Key!
At the regional level approximately 5 – 7% of the works submitted receive Regional Gold Keys, 7-10 % receive Silver Keys and 10 – 15% receive Honorable Mentions.

Awards ceremony for Gold Key and Silver Key winners will be held in Wilson Gymnasium on the Barton College campus Sunday, January 31 at 1:30.
The regional exhibition (Gold and Silver Key work) will be on display in Barton College Galleries from January 31-February 18. Gold Key award work will move on to the national competition this spring.
Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention work will be shown in an online exhibition.
