CFA STUDENTS RECEIVE NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR EXCELLENCE ON SPANISH EXAM

A first time offering in Cape Fear Academy’s Middle and Upper Schools, 26 students combined, from the 8th grade and Upper School Honors Spanish 4, took the examinations this year.   Students earned, in total, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals along with 7 honorable mentions.  “Attaining a medal or honorable mention for any student on the National Spanish Examinations is very prestigious,” said Kevin Cessna-Buscemi, National Director of the Exams, “because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with over 160,000 students participating in 2016.”
