Going Further: Visual Arts by CFA Students To Be Displayed at Local Gallery

The varied work of nearly 60 CFA student artists is displayed at the Hannah Block Community Arts Center from January 28-February 24.  The show is free and open to the public.

Entitled “Going Further,” this installation spotlights the visual arts creativity of grades 1-12. Included are 2-dimensional pieces in diverse media: oil pastels, crayon/tempera, pencil, acrylic, scratchboard, and batik. Reflecting a blend of individual expression and art history, the subject matter ranges from autobiographical to modern masters like Kandinsky. Among the featured artists are some whose works received state-wide scholastic awards.
