Hurricane Dorian School Closing

In anticipation of Hurricane Dorian, all after school programs, practices, and athletic events will be cancelled beginning Tuesday, September 3. After school care will be available as normal for families enrolled in that program. We will have some staff onsite Tuesday evening securing campus. We ask that all faculty, staff, parents, and students not involved with securing campus to please not come back on campus Tuesday evening or on Wednesday.

School will be closed on Wednesday until further notice. We will continue to closely monitor the path of the storm in order to evaluate its potential impact on our area. Due to the uncertainty of the storm’s ultimate path, it is too soon to make decisions on classes and operations for the latter part of the week. We will do our best to give you 24 hours notice on the reopening of campus. Should a decision be made to reopen in less time, we will be sensitive to families and employees who will be making their way back to the area.
At school tomorrow, teachers will provide students with assignments in case school is closed for multiple days. We ask that students bring their laptops, coursework, and reading materials home.

An additional update will be made Tuesday, September 3 at 2 PM via Blackboard Connect, our website, and social media sites.

We ask that everyone make the necessary preparations to make your family as safe and secure as possible.
