Jump Rope for Heart a Huge Success

This year’s Jump Rope for Heart in Lower School was quite a success! Many thanks to all of the parent volunteers who helped run the activities and helped their children with fundraising. The students participated in the High Jump (not the traditional high jump), Clothespin Race, Aerobic Bowling, American Ice Cream Race, Hula Hoop, Rope Jumping and Rhythm Cups activities for one hour. With hearts pumping and smiles on their faces, the students did their best in every event.

Our Lower School students raised almost $14,000 for the American Heart Association to help with education and research about the heart. This year, our two top money raisers were Polk Baggett and Stephen Chiavetta. Polk raised $1,722 and Stephen raised $1,475.

The Lower School students have raised approximately $175,000 over the past 13 years for heart education and research. Thanks again to all when helped and participated!
