Sophomore Will Martin’s Short Film Chosen for Two Festivals

“Welcome to my World” is the latest short film directed by CFA sophomore filmmaker, Will Martin.  The film is an official selection for both the All American High School Film Festival in New York City, October 9-11, as well as the Cucalorus Film Festival in downtown Wilmington, November 11-16.  He will attend his film’s premiere screening  at the All American High School Film Festival while also networking with select high school filmmakers from around the globe.  See his website at www.squeegiefilms.com.

Synopsis

“Welcome to My World” is a short film that is based on racial prejudice that conveys a message of  hope and strength derived from personal choice.  The original music and soundtrack was specifically created for the film in conjunction with the performance and lyrics by emerging urban poet, Trill.
